Job Description

The role of Donor Centre Manager involves overseeing the quality and safety of blood donation and blood products. You will work closely with the team to provide service excellence to donors, coach and develop the team to drive continuous improvement across key service performance indicators, and foster a safe environment where employees feel cared for and can communicate openly.


A Day in the Role Will See You:

  • Manage the operational requirements of the Donor Centre, ensuring efficient donor attendance, skill mix, and employee rostering.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing and Regional Partnerships to optimise donor panels.
  • Engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team in a customer-focussed environment.
  • Strong people leadership skills, using human-centric and empathetic management approaches.
  • Motivation to lead and inspire a team to reach shared goals and key performance indicators.
  • Ability to foster and build internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Passion for coaching people, developing skills within team members, and identifying talent.
  • Positive nature, with the ability to empathise with donors and team members.
  • Strong Excel knowledge, with the ability to dissect and interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Highly committed to safety and quality.
