A Registered Nurse opportunity with a leading healthcare organisation awaits

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and interview potential donors to assess their eligibility for blood donation
  • Provide clinical guidance and oversight during the blood collection process
  • Conduct routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests to ensure donor safety
  • Set up equipment and collections machinery for efficient operations
  • Insert and remove needles safely for whole blood, plasma, and platelet collection
  • Manage any adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance
  • Monitor donors post-donation and assist them in rebooking for their next appointment
Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending to set up and pack down equipment and blood products
  • Occasional lifting of 9-22.7kg items
  • Utilise your expertise as a qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shifts
