Overview

Healthscope, a leading provider of healthcare services in Australia, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a leader in nursing care. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated individual to take on a key role in delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an acute surgical environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and guiding a team of nurses to deliver exceptional patient care. They will also lead quality improvement initiatives and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients in an acute surgical environment
  • Supervise and guide a team of Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives to drive patient safety and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve clinical excellence
  • Act as a role model for safe practice and support colleagues in maintaining high standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute surgical environment
  • Current Registration with AHPRA (no restrictions)
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
  • Postgraduate Certificate or working towards in a relevant specialty (desirable)
  • Working with Children check
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards

Salary Information

The salary for this role is estimated to be $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary reflecting the skills and qualifications required for the position.
