Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our oncology team as a Healthscope Oncology Nurse Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients with cancer, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an acute general medical environment
- Demonstrated experience administering infusions – chemotherapy and biologics (desirable for oncology wards)
- 2+ years oncology experience – for oncology wards
- Working with Children check
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
- Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
- Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in relevant speciality (Desirable)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, motivated and customer focused
