About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced perioperative nursing lead to join our team at Healthscope. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of registered nurses and enrolled nurses in the perioperative setting.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with regulations and accreditation standards.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on health recovery, rehabilitation, and end-of-life needs.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Post-graduate certificate in perioperative nursing or working towards.
- Working with children check (if relevant).
- Commitment to quality patient care.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- A competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per annum.
