Key Maintenance Role

Our organization is at the forefront of solar cell production innovation, aiming to revolutionize efficiency, cost, and sustainability.

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. Reporting to our Head of Mechanical Engineering, you will work alongside a strong mechanical engineering team as part of the wider technical delivery team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure production tools and equipment run smoothly, safely, and reliably.
  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams to improve mechanical systems and test rigs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
  • Manage inventory of critical spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Operate 3D printers, CNC machines, and other in-house fabrication tools.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Certificate III/IV in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on skills in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Experience with CNC machines, 3D printing, manual fabrication, and plastic welding.
  • A proactive, safety-first mindset and familiarity with WHSE compliance.
  • A knack for problem-solving, planning, and prioritizing tasks independently.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, working closely with engineers, operators, and other specialists.
