Operations Maintenance Lead Job Overview

This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of facilities, ensuring all plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles and assets are well maintained and risk-free.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in Mechanical/Electrical and/or maintenance and facilities, with strong technical knowledge of basic mechanics.

  • Manage daily operations to ensure all facilities, plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles and assets are inspected and maintained proactively to minimize service disruptions.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures for all facilities, plant, equipment, machinery, vehicles and assets.
  • Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to manage maintenance activities.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Participate in planned training and skill development programs for maintenance activities.

Key qualifications include:

  • Background in Mechanical/Electrical and/or maintenance and facilities.
  • Strong understanding of basic mechanics.
  • Proven experience in contractor management and maintenance planning.
  • Ability to perform handyman tasks.
  • A valid forklift license.
