About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Worker to join our team in the Southern Region of Sydney.

As a Civil Construction Worker, you will be responsible for assisting and performing specialized tasks in the construction and maintenance of newly constructed civil projects in our Networks and Treatment spaces.

This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of essential infrastructure projects.

About Us

D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream, and WSP, partnering with Sydney Water to deliver design, construct, maintain, and facilities management services across the Southern Region.

We are committed to delivering excellence and providing a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction and maintenance of civil projects
  • Perform specialized tasks as required
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Civil Works
  • Demonstrated experience in water, wastewater, and underground infrastructure sectors
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Trustworthiness, hard work, and a can-do attitude
  • Extensive experience with hand power tools
  • Current driver's license essential
  • WHMIS General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card)
  • Physically fit and healthy, able to perform manual laboring work
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
  • HR, HC, or MR licenses highly desirable
  • Traffic Management, Confined Space, Working at Heights certifications
  • Experience working around mobile plant and equipment
  • Previous experience working on Sydney Water projects
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $85,000 per annum, based on the title and location.
