Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Taree, New South Wales. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with the highest level of safety.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications.
- Participate in monthly financial reviews and provide cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost-to-complete.
- Lead and support a strong safety culture.
- Manage the construction program and implement mitigating measures to keep the program on track.
- Demonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen when making decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or project management.
- A proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects and leading teams with successful outcomes.
- Effective communication with clients, consultants, management, and on-site personnel.
- Understanding of HSE/QA compliance.
- Experience in delivering infrastructure projects greater than $20 million in value.
- Ability to travel regionally when needed.
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus benefits such as tailored professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and corporate social responsibility programs.
