Job Title: Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team at KBR Inc. in Australia. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction to project teams, enhancing the technical skills of the electrical team, and operating under the general guidance of the National Electrical Lead.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to project teams
  • Enhance the technical skills of the electrical team through support and training
  • Operate under the general guidance of the National Electrical Lead
  • Manage, coordinate, and administer engineering, procurement, planning of construction, construction phase support, commissioning, and project closeout
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications at degree level in electrical engineering or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 15-20 years of experience in transmission and distribution sector
  • Extensive experience in relevant infrastructure project development and delivery
  • Subject Matter Expert in transmission & distribution
  • Leadership experience in leading and managing design and development teams
  • Chartered Professional Engineer accreditation highly regarded
  • Well-connected in the utilities and renewable energy zone (REZ) space with a strong professional network
  • The ability to support business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the transmission lines and REZ sector to support KBR's business development
  • Experience with building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and project success
  • Experience with developing relationships, partners, and government entities in new markets
