About the Role

As a Boilermaker supervisor, your primary focus will be team leadership — guiding, mentoring, and supporting a team of tradespeople and apprentices to deliver safe, high-quality work across fabrication and maintenance projects. This is a hands-on supervisory role where your ability to lead from the front, foster accountability, and build a strong team culture will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise boilermakers and apprentices to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time project delivery.

Site & Project Supervision: Oversee fabrication, welding, and installation work to meet engineering specs, quality standards, and client requirements.

Quality Assurance & Technical Oversight: Drive continuous improvement in quality assurance and resolve technical issues or non-conformances proactively.

Client Liaison & Communication; Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring expectations are met.

Workplace Safety & Compliance: Promote and enforce a safety-first culture in compliance with WHS and company policies.

Equipment, Resource & Inventory Management: Manage tools, equipment, and inventory to support efficient project execution and cost control.

Administration & Reporting: Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and support for operational reviews and ongoing improvements.

About you

Required:

Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Australian Driver's license C Class

High Risk LF, EWP License

Confined Space Ticket & Working at Heights Ticket

Proven ability to manage projects in mining or heavy industrial settings

National Police Clearance

Medical and drug/alcohol screening
