Genetic Counsellor Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team providing genetic counselling services.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Master's degree in Genetic Counselling or equivalent qualifications
  • Demonstrated good knowledge and understanding of genetic principles, including medical, genetic and psychosocial aspects
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
  • An ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A patient-focused attitude

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate information collection during intake, providing genetic counselling to individuals seeking information about their personal and/or family history of cancer and other genetic disorders.

This is a casual position available for at least 2 days per week.
