Project Manager - Civil Construction

Civil project managers play a pivotal role in the delivery of civil construction projects. Their responsibility is to oversee every aspect, ensuring timely completion and within budget.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide confident leadership to project teams, including sub-contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Deliver projects safely, cost-effectively, on time, and within budget, maintaining detailed knowledge of all project aspects.
  • Plan works on-site, including plant, equipment, labor, materials, and other resources.
  • Direct all works on-site, reporting daily activities as required by project specifications and quality, OH&S, environment protocols.

Key Requirements:

  • A proven background in civil construction with extensive experience in major earthworks, road works, excavation, and mobile operations.
  • Experience as a stand-alone supervisor for civil projects, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
