Land use designer / engineer needed to deliver subdivision and land development designs

Your new role

As a Civil Designer or Engineer specialising in land design, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and delivery of land development projects from concept through to construction. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to produce detailed civil designs, manage project timelines, and liaise with clients and local authorities.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing subdivisions, roadworks, storm-water drainage, earthworks, and utility layouts

  • Preparing engineering documentation and reports
  • Coordinating with surveyors, planners, and environmental consultants
  • Ensuring compliance with local council and regulatory standards
  • Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to project delivery excellence

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years' experience in land development or urban infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or 12d
  • Strong understanding of local design standards and council requirements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
