Job Title: Experienced Infrastructure Specialist

Our organization seeks a skilled Senior Virtual Platform Specialist to contribute to the success of its ICT team, delivering enterprise-level virtual infrastructure services.

This role plays a crucial part in supporting and optimizing VMware and Microsoft virtual environments, ensuring the stability, scalability, and resilience of core government systems.

The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years' experience in supporting and designing enterprise VMware/Hyper-V environments, with a strong background in PowerShell scripting / PowerCLI integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advanced support for VMware ESXi (6.5+), vCenter (7.x+), NSX-T, vRO, vROps, SRM, HCX, VCF, and related VMware products.
  • Managing Hyper-V 2016+ and System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM).
  • Troubleshooting and maintaining Windows Server (2012R2–2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, SCOM, clustering.
  • Creating platform design documentation, utilization reports, licensing analysis, and capacity forecasts.
  • Contributing to enterprise architecture, ITSM processes, and strategic platform direction.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to capture requirements and recommend enhancements.

Requirements:

  • AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (must hold or be able to obtain).
  • National Police Check required.
  • Current driver's licence.
