Job Title: Experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure including physical, virtual, and cloud-based systems. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of digital services by implementing and managing infrastructure that meets future demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and evaluate infrastructure requirements to meet future demand
  • Provide expert technical support for project build, test, and solution deployment activities
  • Prepare, review, and maintain documentation related to infrastructure design, implementation plans, and support procedures
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies, operational policies, and procedures for change initiatives
  • Participate in change management processes and communicate the implications of configuration changes
  • Proactively share knowledge and expertise as a subject matter expert and provide mentorship to less experienced colleagues
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong technical skills in areas such as:

  • Cisco Data Centre technologies like ACI, Routers, Nexus switches, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Palo Alto firewalls and IPS solutions
  • VPN technologies, email, and DNS (Infoblox) solutions
  • Hybrid and public cloud services
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and integrating hybrid and public cloud services
