Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our ICT operations, you will be responsible for providing Level 1 and Level 2 support for our department's products, maintaining and administering DCR and SDTE infrastructure and endpoints, and conducting product maintenance in accordance with our Maintenance Management System.

 

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 (Basic) and Level 2 (Troubleshooting) support for all departmental products.

• Log or assist with logging of support requests.

• Maintain and administer DCR and SDTE infrastructure and endpoints.

• Audit and manage asset ownership of department-owned material at unit locations.

• Coordinate and assist with upgrades, updates, and maintenance of departmental products.

• Contribute to product test and evaluation activities.

• Participate in support request triage.

 

Requirements:

• Experience in IT Administration.

• Experience with physical and virtual network devices.

• Prior experience working in IT cross-functional or project teams.

• Prior experience working on ADF systems and networks.

• Must hold an NV2 security clearance.

 

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Powershell.

• Understanding of cyber security principles.
