Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts;
• Provide guidance and support to junior chefs and cooking staff on food preparation, presentation, and safety procedures;
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service through regular menu tastings and kitchen inspections;
• Stay current with local produce options and incorporate them into menu planning to showcase the best of Queensland's seasonal ingredients;
• Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge;

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a senior chef or culinary specialist in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting;
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional food quality, presentation, and service;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
• Certification in food safety and handling procedures;
