Senior Culinary Specialist

We are seeking accomplished culinary professionals to join our team at the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka), where we deliver exceptional dining experiences across a diverse range of premium food outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and showcase creative cooking styles, prioritizing presentation and consistency in menu offerings.
- Lead by example, coordinating kitchen sections with strong delegation and communication skills.
- Maintain high standards in food quality, safety, storage, and hygiene throughout all hot and cold menu items.
- Contribute to menu planning and day-to-day food service delivery, ensuring seamless execution.
- Work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments, adapting to changing circumstances.
- Prioritize guest satisfaction, providing flexible and attentive service with a positive attitude.
To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in similar kitchen environments. You must be available for the full Ekka period and comfortable with varied working hours, including early starts and late finishes. Additionally, you should possess excellent time management, problem-solving, and kitchen coordination skills.
