At St Paul's Catholic College, Manly, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled leader to fill the position of Head of Department: HSIE. This permanent full-time opportunity is available from Term 1 2025.

We are a rapidly growing coeducation Catholic secondary school, and as a result, we require additional staffing to cater to our increasing student population.

**Job Description**

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading curriculum implementation across all stages of HSIE courses. Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead differentiated teaching and learning practices that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Capacity to effectively lead and support faculty members through targeted professional learning.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and the Parish.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the executive team to implement whole-school improvement initiatives.

**Requirements**

To be eligible for this position, applicants must have a 4-year training qualification or be enrolled in further study that will provide them with a four-year trained qualification.
