Job Title: Facility Operations Coordinator
Job Overview:
- Lead and coordinate daily operations of the facility to ensure efficiency, productivity, and safety standards.
- Inspect incoming produce to assess quality and oversee grading processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and cleanliness to maintain optimal produce conditions.
- Supervise produce quality throughout washing and grading processes.
- Take corrective action upon detecting quality issues caused by mechanical damage or grading inconsistencies.
- Implement waste management procedures for effective residue disposal.
- Coordinate with farm managers and team members on production, maintenance, and dispatch operations.
- Ensure proper cold chain management during handling and dispatch.
- Follow standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and quality in dispatch operations.
- Train and oversee staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations during packaging, grading, and transportation processes.
Eligibility Requirements:
- AQF Cert III or Cert IV qualifications and 2 years of working experience in a similar role in a farm setting.
- Strong understanding of agricultural production processes.
- Attention to detail and quick decision-making to address quality issues and operational challenges.
- Proficiency in quality control and adherence to standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to coordinate with various departments and ensure compliance with regulations.
