Enterprise Data Governance Specialist

This role is crucial in embedding data governance policies, standards, and procedures across various functions. It involves working closely with domain experts, technology teams, security specialists, and risk managers to enhance measurement and monitoring.
The position plays a key role in uplifting enterprise data governance, sitting within the Chief Data Office as part of the Data and Technology Division. The role reports directly into the Head of Data Strategy and Governance and is responsible for working closely with stakeholders and project teams to ensure that data governance practices are improved and adhered to across all business functions.
- Embed enhanced enterprise data governance in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop, document, and implement data governance strategies, policies, standards, and frameworks across data lifecycle activities such as data collection, quality, master data management, analytics, reporting, and publishing.
- Provide expert guidance and support on data governance practices on data collection, validation, enrichment, classification, security, usage, retention, and controls to enable data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across data, technology, security, and the business to embed data governance best practices and uplift data maturity.
