Business Analyst Role

This position involves working closely with stakeholders to gather and document data governance frameworks and processes that support effective data management and decision-making.

The role will play a key part in strengthening the technology and data infrastructure and capabilities over the medium term, providing people with data and insights to drive continued excellence in supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data governance, data quality, or data management projects.
  • Experience working on regulatory and data projects within the finance sector.
  • Strong business analysis skills including requirements gathering and definition, analysis, business process mapping (as-is / to-be), impact analysis, running workshops, etc.

You will sit within the Chief Data Office which enables the organization with frameworks, technology and systems that support its data and technology operations.

About This Opportunity

This is a key opportunity to join the Data Capability Uplift stream as part of an uplift project. You will have the chance to analyse existing data management and data governance related business processes to seek opportunities to simplify, automate and reduce operational and data risks through the delivery of enhanced processes and technology solutions.

You will lead the identification and visualization of data governance-related processes using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., BPMN), ensuring clarity in data flows, ownership, and decision points. Conduct assessments of existing governance practices, identify gaps between current and target states, and provide actionable recommendations aligned with business priorities.
