About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join our team at Arkose Labs Inc. as a Captcha Challenge Developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing state-of-the-art captcha challenges using Blender and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop captcha challenges that are resistant to automation and easy for humans to solve
  • Work with our team to conceptualize and develop new captcha challenge ideas
  • Use Python to generate images at scale and implement dynamic threat response
  • Collaborate with our machine learning team to test and validate captcha challenge effectiveness
  • Develop internal tooling and automation to improve processes and increase productivity

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with 3D software, including at least 2 years with Blender
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role as a Technical Artist
  • Proven competency working with Python and a coding portfolio
  • Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Asset management experience, such as Perforce, Plastic SCM, or GitHub
  • Drive to create internal tooling and automation to improve processes
  • A quality-driven mindset

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in cyber security
  • Degree or experience in Games Design, 3D Animation, or equivalent
  • Game concept prototyping/POCs
  • 3D modeling and sculpting (ZBrush/Blender)
  • Experience with scripting inside of Blender
  • Html + CSS
  • Data interpretation and validation
  • User experience testing
  • Experience with machine learning/vision
  • Familiarity with AWS (S3, DynamoDB)
  • Experience communicating with customers
