We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Artist to join our team at Arkose Labs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing state-of-the-art captcha challenges using Blender and Python. Your work will play a critical role in protecting online services from cybercrime and abuse.
Key Responsibilities- Conceptualize and develop captcha challenges that are resistant to automation
- Collaborate with our team to design and implement new puzzle ideas
- Use Python to generate images at scale and optimize challenge performance
- Validate metrics for puzzle solvability on real humans and automation techniques
- Develop internal tools and automation to improve processes and increase productivity
- 5+ years of experience with 3D software, including at least 2 years with Blender
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role as a Technical Artist
- Proven competency in Python programming, with a coding portfolio
- Lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with asset management tools, such as Perforce or Plastic SCM
- Drive to create internal tooling and automation to improve processes
- A quality-driven mindset
- Experience working in cyber security
- Degree or experience in Games Design, 3D Animation, or equivalent
- Game concept prototyping and POCs
- 3D modeling and sculpting skills
- Experience with scripting inside of Blender
- Javascript and HTML/CSS experience
- Data interpretation and validation skills
- User experience testing experience
- Experience with machine learning and vision
- Illustration skills
- Experience with Jira and AWS
