Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and innovative Senior Technical Artist to contribute to the development of advanced captcha challenges. In this role, you will collaborate with a team to conceptualize and create captcha challenges using Blender and Python for large-scale image generation. These images will undergo rigorous AB testing with live audiences and will be evaluated against our proprietary machine learning tools to assess their effectiveness against automated attacks. Your contributions will play a crucial role in protecting various widely-used online services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and innovate new puzzle concepts, ensuring a high level of image variation and scalability.
- Analyze and validate metrics related to puzzle solvability for human users and automation techniques.
- Drive the automation of repetitive tasks and develop tools to enhance team productivity.
- Engage in creative problem-solving and lateral thinking to stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with 3D software, including at least 2 years of proficiency in Blender.
- At least 2 years in a similar Technical Artist role.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with a portfolio demonstrating coding capabilities.
- Experience in asset management tools such as Perforce, Plastic SCM, or GitHub.
- A commitment to quality and a drive to create internal tools for process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in cyber security.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Game Design, 3D Animation, or related fields.
- Experience with game concept prototyping and POCs.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and sculpting, particularly with Zbrush or Blender.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and data interpretation.
- Experience with machine learning or computer vision technologies.
