
HR Business Partner

Take on a pivotal role in fostering positive employee relations and contributing to the success of a leading charter airline.
- Work closely with operational teams providing advice and support on employee relations matters, ensuring a fair and equitable work environment.
- Play a key part in advising managers on grievances, investigations, performance management, disciplinary issues, and general ER/IR compliance matters.
- Conduct workplace investigations and disciplinary actions, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process.
- Provide timely and accurate advice on award and enterprise agreement interpretation, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Support the review of HR policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop and deliver training programs for managers on relevant HR policies, procedures, and legislative changes.
This specialist role is responsible for:
- Managing employee relations issues and resolving conflicts in a fair and equitable manner.
- Providing guidance on grievance management processes, ensuring that all parties are treated fairly and without bias.
- Supporting the development of HR policies and procedures, aligning them with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring compliance risks regarding industrial instruments and other applicable legislation.
- Broadening knowledge of ER/IR regulatory framework, staying up-to-date with changes and developments in the field.
- Maintaining a proactive approach to advisory, seeking solutions that meet the needs of all stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively within a team environment that values collaboration and open communication.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related area or equivalent experience.
- Prior work experience in an Employee Relations specialist role, demonstrating a strong understanding of ER/IR principles.
- A broad understanding of grievance management processes, including conflict resolution and negotiation techniques.
- Proven ability to effectively manage employee relations issues and resolve conflicts in a fair and equitable manner.
- Solid knowledge of ER/IR regulatory framework, with a focus on award and enterprise agreement interpretation.
- A practical and commercial approach to advisory, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.
- An enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a team environment that values collaboration and open communication.
