Remote Healthcare Opportunity

We are seeking experienced General Practitioners to provide high-quality care in remote Northern Territory communities.

This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

  • Short-term placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote NT communities, with travel and accommodation covered.

Requirements:

  • A fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a general practitioner within the past 12 months.
  • Evidence of completion of current requirements and active participation in continuing education recognised by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Quality Assurance and Continuous Professional Development (RACGP QA & CPD) or Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine-Professional Development Program (ACRRM PDP).
  • Evidence of current professional indemnity insurance as a General Practitioner.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
