About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aboriginal Child Protection Caseworker to join our team in South Western Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children or young people to provide support and guidance.
  • Develop and implement safety plans to ensure the well-being and safety of children and young people.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to provide a comprehensive support service to families.
  • Participate in court processes, including the preparation of court documents and attending court.

What We're Looking For

  • Relevant diploma or degree qualification, or at least two years' experience working with vulnerable children, young people and their families.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and paid working with children clearance number.
  • Documented verification of Aboriginality confirming your Aboriginal identity.
