Software Developer for Space Exploration

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team of innovative thinkers and engineers who are passionate about space exploration.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience working on complex systems and projects. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software that meets the needs of our mission.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop reliable autonomous software systems and simulations to validate them.
  • Own all aspects of software development, including design, testing, and integration.
  • Work with counterpart engineering teams to develop and maintain launch and vehicle software.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field; OR 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proven skills and knowledge of C++, Rust, or other systems programming languages.
  • Experience building or working with real-time embedded systems or distributed computing systems.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Strong focus and interest in designing excellent, bug-free software.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, controls, fluid systems, motor design, or physical mechanics.
  • Critical thinking and first-principles problem-solving skills.

Please note that this role requires the ability to obtain the necessary export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
