Advanced Flight Software Developer

As a member of the software development team, you will design and develop highly reliable autonomous systems that enable the control of flight systems for the Starship and Super Heavy vehicles. You will work collaboratively with other engineers to code and test software that allows the vehicle to become an orbital system.
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of computer science, engineering, math, or science disciplines and 4+ years of professional experience in software development. A working knowledge of C++, Python, or Rust is also required.
Responsibilities:- Develop complex software systems and simulations to validate their performance
- Design prototypes to prove out key concepts and quantify technical constraints
- Own all aspects of software development, including design, testing, and mission integration
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline and 4+ years of professional experience in software development; or 6+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of a degree
- 4+ years of professional experience in C++, Python, or Rust
The ideal candidate will have a creative approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.
