Plant Mechanic Job Opportunity">

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Mechanic to provide comprehensive on-site support for various Caterpillar equipment across diverse industries.

This is a full-time permanent position in our Port Hedland branch, where you will join our Field Service team and work closely with customers to ensure their machinery is running efficiently and reliably.

  • Diagnose faults on Caterpillar equipment at customer sites and implement repairs, maintenance, and servicing of mining and marine machinery.
  • Work safely and effectively in a dynamic environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the success of our team by implementing Product Improvement Plans and Support Programs.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized Australian Heavy Mobile Plant Trade Certificate with post-trade experience in field service.
  • A valid Driver's License and LR license.
  • HRWL (LF, DG, WP) & Working at Heights certifications.
  • Refrigerant Handling License (preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with Caterpillar Mining Machinery and Marine equipment.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills using CAT SIS & CAT ET.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, both in remote environments and under pressure.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in your work.
