Job Title

Trainer and Assessor - Magnetite Operations

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Trainer and Assessor to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, practical training and assessments across site operations.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in heavy equipment or fixed plant operations, along with a strong understanding of industry safety standards and RTO compliance.

  • Deliver practical, face-to-face training and assessments, including Verification of Competency (VOC) for both mobile equipment and fixed plant operations.
  • Coordinate, implement, and continuously improve site-specific training to align with operational requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Develop, validate, and moderate Training and Assessment Strategies (TAS), learning resources, and assessment tools to ensure quality and compliance with RTO standards.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience operating heavy equipment, specifically Dozers and Excavators, within a mining or similar high-risk environment.
  • Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40120 or equivalent).
