Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Inventory Planning Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. In this critical role, you will play a key part in driving business success by building collaborative relationships across the organization and implementing effective inventory planning strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Purchasing – ordering products to meet tight market requirements and budgets">
  • Inventory planning – incorporating forecasts from Brand Managers into our purchasing decisions">
  • Providing an interface between Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain teams to lead the implementation and improvement of our Sales and Operational Planning framework within the business">
  • Project managing the introduction of new products from launch approval to first release of product to customers">

Requirements:

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • ">
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role">
  • A high level of numerical/analytical and problem-solving skills">
  • Sound PC skills, including advanced Excel capabilities">
  • The ability to organize and prioritize work and meet strict deadlines">
  • Tertiary qualified in logistics (preferred but not essential)">
  • JDE experience desirable">
  • Exposure to developing and maintaining SOPs">
  • Strong inter-personal relationship skills">
  • Team player">
