Procurement Professional

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Professional to manage the procurement of Engineering Steel products.

This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of materials that meet our quality and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Engineering Steels.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and support sales forecasting.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage international supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
  • Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Shipping, Warehouse, etc.).
  • Report on procurement performance, supplier metrics, and cost savings.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience in procurement or purchasing.
  • Engineering Steels industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management and sourcing practices and processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and divisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and adapt to changing market conditions.
