Inventory Coordinator Job Summary
This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient and timely distribution of key products to customers.
As an Inventory Coordinator, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional service and optimize logistics operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the execution of weekly dispatch plans working with Manufacturing teams, downstream businesses, and third parties to dispatch requirements in a timely manner.
- Optimize distribution plans to reduce transportation costs.
- Work with the team to find improved efficiency and productivity of magazine operations and processes.
- Coordinate with transportation companies and authorities to ensure the availability of trucks and shipping to cover freight business needs for domestic, import, and export of materials.
- Ensure products are delivered on time to customers, guaranteeing a high level of service satisfaction.
- Support compliance with regulations for products delivered to customers.
- Support the resolution of problems, including stock reconciliations, for stock visibility and traceability, avoid losses made through non-deliveries, wrong deliveries, and returns.
- Support ensuring operational and site SAP system processes are effectively utilised to maintain efficient, timely inventory movements. This includes material movements, write-offs, and goods receipt.
- Creation of purchase requisitions. Ensure raw materials/accessories are aligned with Transport Management to ensure accurate freight order creation.
- Processing of invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Compliance to all site safety requirements.
About You
- A degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field, or at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organisational skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Proven experience with SAP Transportation Management and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of order-to-pick processes, inventory management, and stock movement procedures.
