Job Overview

This role is ideal for an individual who can optimize logistics operations and deliver exceptional service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient distribution of key product lines to customers, ensuring timely delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.

About the Role
  • Supports the execution of weekly despatch plans working with manufacturing teams, downstream businesses, and third parties dispatching requirements in a timely manner.
  • Optimizes distribution plans in order to reduce transportation costs.
  • Works with team to find improved efficiency and productivity of magazine operations and processes.
  • Coordinates with transportation companies and authorities the availability of trucks and shipping in order to cover freight business needs for domestic, import and export of materials.
  • Ensures products are delivered on time to the customer guaranteeing a high level of service satisfaction.
  • Supports compliance with regulations for products delivered to customers.
  • Supports the resolution of problems, including stock reconciliations, for stock visibility and traceability, avoid losses made through non-deliveries, wrong deliveries and returns.
  • Supports ensuring operational and site SAP system processes are effectively utilised to maintain efficient, timely inventory movements. This includes material movements, write offs and goods receipt.
  • Creation of purchase requisitions. Ensure raw materials / accessories are aligned with Transport Management to ensure accurate freight order creation.
  • Processing of invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Schedule and coordinate the movement of goods to meet customer requirements.
  2. Manage and improve logistics processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  3. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and resolve any discrepancies.
  4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably with SAP Transportation Management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a team environment.
