Key Compliance Professional

A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced compliance specialist to join its risk and compliance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and be able to provide day-to-day compliance reviews.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the institution's regulatory obligations are met, particularly in member operations. The successful candidate will review and approve activities and materials, serving as a key regulatory and technical SME for the Fund Services Group.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide regular compliance assessments, feedback, and sign-off for the Fund Services teams.
  • Perform compliance reviews on member operations incidents in accordance with the fund's incident management and breach reporting policy.
  • Support projects or initiatives as an SME to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and prudential standards.
Requirements:
  • Strong commitment to ethical business practices.
  • At least 3 years' experience in financial services compliance, with an understanding of financial products and business processes.
  • Experience with and understanding of financial services regulations.
  • Expert knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks.
  • Critical thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of personal integrity and ability to handle confidential matters professionally.
  • Commercial acumen.
