We are seeking a skilled Contracts Professional to join our team on a long term frameworks contract in Western Sydney.


This role will oversee the procurement and downstream pre/post contract management function for concurrent water infrastructure, and utilities projects across the western suburbs. The successful candidate will report directly to the Contracts Manager and work closely with the Utilities Manager, National Program Manager, Project Managers and the project team.


Responsibilities
  • Determine key areas of financial risk associated with construction and utilities contracts
  • Prepare bills of quantities and manage cost control processes
  • Sourcesubcontractors and negotiate favourable commercial terms
  • Administer sub-contractor and client variation & EOT claims
  • Deal with sub-contractor and client payment claims
  • Liaise closely with senior stakeholders and project teams
  • Ensure monthly financial reporting requirements are met based on disciplined forecasting and tracking of revenue and costs
  • Provide general commercial administration and document control services

Qualifications
  • Experience as a Contracts Administrator within the construction or utilities sectors
  • Good working knowledge of forms of contract currently used within the construction/utilities industry
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar field (preferred)
  • Proficient IT skills with advanced skills in Excel and Word
  • High level of personal motivation and commercial acumen
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
