We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Management Systems Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

About the Role

This position involves working within project teams to devise and implement complex solutions for utilities in the energy transmission, distribution, and generation business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to less experienced engineers.
  • Evaluate contract specifications and define project requirements.
  • Communicate detailed software enhancement requirements to internal departments.
  • Design, plan, integrate, test, and commission SCADA systems.
  • Create project documentation and report technical details to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conduct training sessions at customer sites and OSI premises.
  • Built lasting relationships with customers through professional communication.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency with full working rights.
  • The ability to attend the office in Macquarie Park, Sydney, on a flexible basis, and travel to customer sites when required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the utility industry with expertise in SCADA, EMS, DMS, OMS, or DERMS.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong technical background in automation and computer control systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of electric utilities and power systems operations, relational databases, and operating systems.
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication, reporting, and planning skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
