Product Developer – Headwear Specialist

This role is focused on the technical side of development—creating accurate product information, managing data, and coordinating with international sourcing teams to deliver high-quality products.

You will play a key role in supporting the development process across multiple sporting leagues, both locally and internationally.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
  • Creating and maintaining detailed product specifications in PLM for prototypes, sales samples, and bulk production.
  • Reviewing digital and physical samples, making corrections in collaboration with sourcing teams.
  • Coordinating product approvals with teams and license holders, ensuring all designs meet strict league guidelines.
  • Managing product data across PLM and tracking systems, ensuring descriptions, colorways, materials, and delivery months are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicating daily with our Hong Kong sourcing team to resolve specification issues and maintain timelines.
  • Tracking progress against the Time & Action Calendar (TAC) and updating MONDAY boards to keep stakeholders aligned and deadlines met.
  • Supporting proto reviews, ranging sessions, and ensuring smooth handover to production teams.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • 1+ year of experience in product development and/or production (headwear, apparel, accessories, or similar).
  • Knowledge of Australian and/or international sporting teams is a bonus.
  • Skilled in Adobe Illustrator.
  • Experience using PLM systems.
  • Technical knowledge of construction, fabrics, trims, and applications.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail when creating product specifications and managing data.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, organized, and solutions-focused communicator.
