As a key member of our Sports Business Unit, we are seeking a detail-oriented Product Developer to join New Era Cap in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate tech packs, managing product data, and coordinating with international sourcing teams. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to drive the development of innovative products that meet our high standards.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Product Developer to take their career to the next level. As a key contributor to our team, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our headwear and apparel business.

  • Develop detailed technical specifications for prototypes, salesman samples, and bulk production.
  • Review digital and physical samples and collaborate with sourcing teams to make necessary adjustments.
  • Coordinate product approvals with internal stakeholders and license holders.
  • Manage product data across PLM systems and track progress.
  • Communicate effectively with our Hong Kong sourcing team on a daily basis.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in product development and/or production (headwear, apparel, accessories, or similar).
  • Knowledge of Australian and/or international sporting teams is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is essential.
  • Experience using PLM systems is required.
