High Needs Support Specialist

We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our community team, supporting a client in the Woodbine area with complex needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to educate and work at the same time, as we offer internal Certificate & Diploma courses for professional growth and development.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-needs care, including personal care assistance, bowel/catheter care, and support with activities out in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: assist with hygiene, bowel/catheter care
  • Community Support: accompany clients to medical appointments and therapy sessions
  • Everyday Activities: provide support with household tasks and daily routines
  • Meal Assistance: meal preparation and assistance with food planning

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have/be:

  • Passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact
  • Good Manual Handling skills, including hoist and wheelchair assistance
  • Experienced or willing to be trained in bowel management and catheter care
  • Hold current NDIS Clearance, Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and First Aid & CPR certificates
