Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, community groups, and stakeholders, resolving complex queries and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Lead the Ward Office team in the delivery of effective administration and customer service, managing workload and achieving key performance markers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community groups, sports clubs, and local residents, promoting the Council's services and initiatives.
- Research and interpret legislation, policy, and guidelines to support the Councillor in resolving community queries.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and information decks, handling sensitive information in accordance with Council policy.
- Assist with digital content design and editing, and manage social media accounts to promote the Council's services and initiatives.
- Demonstrated front-facing customer service experience with a strong focus on resolving complex customer queries.
- Ability to maintain oversight across work in progress, including reviewing, understanding, and briefing stakeholders on complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience in leading an office-based operation, providing high-quality administrative and secretarial support.
- Demonstrated experience in researching and interpreting legislation, policy, and guidelines.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with a wide range of customers and Council officers.
