Job Title: Group Human Resources Manager

Our organization is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead our HR team and support our people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small, high-impact team of 3, coaching, mentoring, and building capability for today and tomorrow.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of drivers and depot staff.
  • Advise management on employee relations and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Work, WHS, transport industry obligations and HR best practices.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate learning initiatives.
  • Maintain HR records and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • Lead Enterprise Agreement negotiations and ensure Fair Work compliance.
About You:

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, effective communicator, and proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Previous experience in the Transport & Logistics Industry would be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, modern awards, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience with balancing strategic influence and hands-on delivery.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and resilience. The successful candidate should be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, capable of building productive relationships at all levels.
  • Strong employee relations expertise, including leading complex matters and investigations with the ability to coach.
