Your Opportunity:

As a supportive assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care in Residential Aged Care settings. Your role will include hands-on clinical work and essential administrative tasks.

Be part of something innovative – our award-winning Care Pathway enables you to support personalized therapy programs developed by our therapists. You will assist in delivering evidence-based care through mobility and functional activities, one-on-one sessions, group-based active ageing programs, and care plan follow-ups.

You will be accountable for:

  • Assisting physiotherapists and occupational therapists to deliver services in accordance with operating procedures and policies.
  • Servicing clients in accordance with the Allied Health Professionals treatment plan.
  • Transporting residents to and from therapy areas or appointments under the direction of physiotherapists/occupational therapists.
  • Setting up and packing away therapy equipment, including cleaning both the area and equipment.
  • Collecting referrals and completing administrative tasks as guided by physiotherapists.
  • Ordering prescribed equipment.
  • Leading exercise groups/programs.
  • Supporting initiatives to meet client/contract expectations.
  • Consulting with physiotherapists/occupational therapists on adaptations, changes, or progressions of treatment plans for clients.
