Job Title

As a skilled clinical care professional, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality evidence-based clinical care as part of our multidisciplinary team. Your focus will be on early intervention and support for young people up to the age of 25.

This is a part-time opportunity that offers flexibility to work 4 days per week or a 9 day fortnight. The role is primarily based at the hub, but also allows for remote work one day per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to addressing service gaps for the 'missing middle' by enhancing accessibility and integrating primary mental health care, psychosocial support, and early intervention.
  • Promote holistic wellbeing by considering broader determinants of health, fostering collaboration among providers, and ensuring a sustainable adaptable service responsive to community needs.

Requirements
  • Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist, OR, AASW registration/eligibility as a Social Worker, OR, Level 2 ACA registration/eligibility.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions and clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in the practical application of such, in the areas of mental health and alcohol and drug use.
  • Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to engage with people, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, clients, families & friends and stakeholders.
  • Experience in the use of electronic client/customer management systems, ability to use a desktop computer, and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card for paid employment.
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance for paid employment.
