
Philanthropy Project Coordinator

The Philanthropy Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving fundraising initiatives and fostering strategic partnerships that create lasting philanthropic impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage project planning tools to drive success
- Collaborate with academic staff to develop compelling project content
- Oversee key project-related tasks and actions, ensuring seamless execution
- Coordinate project meetings, track follow-ups, and maintain accurate records
- Prepare comprehensive project minutes and notes
- Support project marketing and promotional strategies, including event planning
- Maintain a collaborative online workspace for the advancement team
- Generate project reports and track progress using CRM software
- Assist in developing project budgets and reporting for senior leadership
About You:
- A degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training
- Training or certifications in project management, fundraising strategies, donor management software, and CRM systems
- Demonstrated success in coordinating or managing fundraising projects, preferably in a non-profit or educational setting
- Demonstrated experience cultivating relationships with donors, alumni, faculty, and staff through effective communication and understanding their motivations
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing project management tools effectively
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams, including marketing, finance, and external partners
- Strong analytical skills to assess fundraising trends and effectiveness, identifying problems and implementing solutions promptly
- Passion for the university's mission, proactive attitude, and creativity
