Job Summary:

The Philanthropy Coordinator will play a pivotal role in driving fundraising initiatives and fostering strategic partnerships that create lasting philanthropic impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage project planning tools to drive success
  • Collaborate with academic staff to develop compelling project content
  • Oversee key project-related tasks and actions, ensuring seamless execution
  • Coordinate project meetings, track follow-ups, and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare comprehensive project minutes and notes
  • Support project marketing and promotional strategies, including event planning
  • Maintain a collaborative online workspace for the advancement team
  • Generate project reports and track progress using CRM software
  • Assist in developing project budgets and reporting for senior leadership

About You:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training
  • Training or certifications in project management, fundraising strategies, donor management software, and CRM systems
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating or managing fundraising projects, preferably in a non-profit or educational setting
  • Demonstrated experience cultivating relationships with donors, alumni, faculty, and staff through effective communication and understanding their motivations
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing project management tools effectively
  • Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams, including marketing, finance, and external partners
  • Strong analytical skills to assess fundraising trends and effectiveness, identifying problems and implementing solutions promptly
  • Passion for the university's mission, proactive attitude, and creativity
