About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Fundraising Manager to oversee all activities related to philanthropy and fundraising in Melbourne and Victoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering, managing, and stewarding donors for annual giving, major gifts, and philanthropic programs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Annual Giving:
    • IDentify and build relationships with donors to ensure their support for Annual Giving and/or our foundation.
    • Manage relationships with existing donors to retain and develop their current level of support.
  • Major Gifts and Philanthropic Programs:
    • Develop and implement strategies to secure new program donors and manage renewals.
    • Cultivate and steward donors for major gifts.
    • Increase awareness of bequest programs with existing donors.
  • Fundraising and Development Events:
    • Collaborate with the Head of Development to plan development event schedules.
    • Develop fundraising strategies to align with organizational needs.
  • Trusts and Foundations:
    • IDentify and seek support from philanthropic trusts and foundations.
    • Nurture existing relationships with trusts and foundations.
  • General:
    • Provide support to the Head of Development and other team members as required.
    • Support on company projects or initiatives as required by the Head of Development or Managing Director.
Requirements:
  1. You must have at least 3 years' experience as a Fundraising Manager.
  2. You should have completed a qualification in management.
  3. You should have at least 2 years' experience in event management.
