Your Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits for various entities, including financial, operational, and compliance reviews.

">

• Develop internal audit plans and engage with stakeholders to plan and conduct the audit.

">

• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with detailed outcomes and agreed management actions.

">

• Monitor the implementation of agreed management actions with stakeholders and report on status.

">

• Assist with preparation of the organisational internal audit work plan.

">

• Respond in a timely manner to all internal audit-related queries.

">

• Uphold effective risk and compliance culture in line with organisational values and strategic priorities.

• Provide advice to improve the quality assurance process to support leadership team in making informed decisions.

• Support Internal Audit team with deliverables as required.

About Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • ">
  • Qualifications: Commerce or Accounting or related discipline.">
  • Professional Certifications: CPA, CA, CIA, or equivalent.">
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in internal or external audit function.">
  • Skill Set: Ability to work in business partnering model yet maintain independence and objectivity from operational teams.">
  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience to contribute to continuous improvement.">
  • Regulatory Compliance: Awareness of industry regulatory bodies.">
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate level of report writing and record keeping.">
  • Global Standards: Understanding of Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS).">
  • Software Proficiency: Previous experience with multiple information management systems.">
  • Industry Specialisation: Experience in Aged Care, NDIS, Child Youth and Family, and Education Industries highly desirable.">
